Bright Colours

A blanket I just finished today, this one will fit a single bed, it was going to be my last blanket for now. But by this afternoon I'm going through the wool and starting another one.

Thankyou so much Alandra and A.Lovely, for your kind comments, don't be fooled I'm not really a knitter at all, it's a pattern that I just loved so much and wanted to do, I had no idea I'd be making so many rugs with this pattern, it's very easy to do and easy for the evenings watching telly, I'm on a pure wool white now for the next new gran dur in April 2008.

Your photo is full of beautiful

color. I noticed it's on a embrodered bed linen. You certainly have a talent for photography and also crocheting.

I admire your skill.

have only just found this one, Lorraine, and it's gorgeous, love it. the colours are lovely. You are very talented. My Mum always did the knitting in our family, so I never got that adept at it, - I did the sewing for my girls, and Mum did the knitting. Did start an Aran pullover years ago, and got partway up the back, lol, and that's as far as it got. It's still here, in my cedar chest, protecting it from moths : ) Really enjoyed working at that design, can't recall why I quit working on it.

Thankyou Vicki, It really is a simple pattern, I don't even use the pattern now, this one fits a single bed, its nice to knit now with the long winter nights beside the fire, thankyou so much for your kind comments.

Lorraine, dear, that does NOT look like a simple pattern - not the way I drop stitches!!! It's beautiful. Sounds like a dcent size if it fits a twin bed. Lovely work. You are clever and very talented. Vicki

Thankyou Golda and Carol for your lovely comments, its a very simple pattern to knit,It makes a lovely warm and soft blanket that the kids love to cuddle into, I've started another already, at the moment with no home to go to but by the time I'm finished it will have someone waiting for it.
