thanks again, Robyn, we should swap some of our black squirrels for some of your white ones and red ones : ) Have never seen any white ones before. Are they albinos with red eyes? One of the black squirrels is always chasing the greys right out of the patio area and across the front driveway : )

Beautiful. I have not seen a black one before. We have reds and grays that hang out in our yard and torment the dogs. And nearby there is a colony of white squirrels. Would love to have some blacks around here!

thanks for the nice comment, Lorraine, - missed it til now. They don't really cause any problems. They are so entertaining and comical with their antics that they don't bother me at all.

I would love to have animals come into my garden like this, we have a few native birds from time to time, but not that often, these little fellows must be great to watch, do the cause any trouble?

Hi Kathy, thankyou, interesting that many didn't know about the black squirrels. In England they have the "red" squirrels and Carol said they also have those, which I didn't realize. These are the first squirrel shots that I've been able to capture as they always ran off before : ) They didn't stay very long in one place that day, either, but were smart enough to know I was inside the house : )

Very interesting shot! I've never seen a Black Squirrel either, never even knew they existed. Only recently I've found out about Albino squirrels too. I wonder what other varieties there are?

I wish we did get them hes a handsome looking little guy.Red and grey is all we have around here. The red ones are very destructive if they happen to get into attics or garages etc.

thanks very much, Mary, Carol and Alex for the nice comments. glad you like it. did wonder if you ever see black squirrels there. We usually get one black one here, but mostly the grey squirrels. I like the front paws, the way they hold the food etc.
