Thanks Alandra and Anne for the lovely comments,I was surprised to see how different the female looks too.

They are the first birds in the morning to come to the feeders or at least it seems that way lately.

interesting to see the female cardinal, Carol. Had no idea they were as grey as this.- thought they were just a duller red than the males.
