Egret Standing on Palm Tree

: Egret Standing on Palm Tree; This tall palm tree stands about 50 feet tall. I watched the egret fly to it and perch there. The smaller cattle egret often perches in trees. But there is nothing more odd-looking than a large white egret in one - but it does happen.

Thank you Mary and Carol. I almost missed this one as we were outside talking to a friend when I saw it flying in my peripheral vision. Luckily I had time to run inside and get my camera and it "obliged" by waiting for me to return before flying off!
