The Genesee River in Letchworth State Park, Western NY. This was shot from a remote vantage point on the east rim of the river gorge, a couple hundred feet or more above the flood plain. This area is not far upstream from the Mount Morris flood control dam, and in the spring is usually flooded wall-to-wall.
