Cape Hatteras Light Station

It was a great feeling seeing this beloved light station several miles to the north for the first time. It was too late to climb the 241 stairs - but I will.

Thank you Mary - it was rather overcast, but so nice not to have crowds. Theres a great stone ring around the original location with all the light keepers names inscribed on them. Their quarters were also relocated with the light.

We did climb them some years ago and then you weren't allowed to do it. Nice shot.
