After a great afternoon shooting the Great Blue Heron and other Salt Springs images, we turned to leave and I noticed huge birds roosting in magnificent, gnarled Cypress trees just behind us.

In true silhouette, it wasn't until I edited them that I realized they were Turkey Vultures. Seeing several of the huge birds in one tree was quite a sight, but this one appealed to me in its simplicity.
