Hibiscus with a Difference

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. Originating in Asia and the Pacific Islands, it is the national flower of Malaysia and closely associated with Hawaii.

Evergreen rounded leafy shrub, oval glossy leaves are coarsely serrated. Produces funnel-shaped flowers, mainly in summer but also in spring and autumn.
