Staged Flower
The idea behind this contest is to stage a shot of a flower complete with a backdrop, artificial lighting, and a reflector (if needed). For those without professional equipment, a piece of material or cardstock could be used for a backdrop, a couple of lamps could be used to create the desired light, and any shiny surface could be used as a reflector. You could also use a mirror or other things to help stage your flower. You can use software to enhance color and do minor editing, but you shouldn't use it to extract the flower from a 'natural' background. Relaxing
What better time to have a contest about relaxing than the end of July? Sure it might be a bit hot (or cold depending on where you're at), but that's the best time to relax and have fun, in my opinion. All types of art and photography are allowed. | Contest completed on Aug 7, 2007.
