Flower Photography Contest
April showers brings May flowers, so it’s time to have a flower photography contest on The Lens Flare. Nature photography is one of my favorite hobbies, and flowers make up such a huge part of the beauty of nature, that I’m really looking forward to seeing your contest entries.
You’re welcome to use photos or artwork that you’ve already created if you don’t have time to get out and shoot before the submission deadline of May 31st. However, now is a great time to dust off those cameras, warm up those memory cards, get out of the house, and take some great images.
When you’re shooting, try to steer away from the stereotype of straight down into the center of the flower. There are many fine examples of great flower photography in our galleries, so be sure to browse what’s out there for inspiration.
All art forms are allowed such as photos, paintings, and drawings, so if you feel like dusting off an old canvas instead of your camera, go for it!
